Arrive in Cairo / Welcome Dinner
Arrive at Cairo airport, where you will be met by our Tour Manager, who will assist you through customs and immigration before transferring you to our luxury accommodations at the spectacular Mena House Hotel. Built as a royal hunting lodge in the mid-19th century, this historic hotel’s past guest list includes many notables: Winston Churchill, Empress Eugenie, Frank Sinatra, Princess Diana, and now YOU. Your room features a stunning view of the Pyramids, and the hotel boasts a heated swimming pool, a full gym, and an excellent spa. (Please note that all hotel accommodations are based on double occupancy. Limited number of “single supplements” are available). After checking into the hotel and a nice rest, you will experience a magnificent Welcome Dinner.
Welcome dinner at the Mena House.

Day 2, Mon, Feb 12th

Opening meditation / Orientation / Egyptian Museum:
We begin our day with an inspirational private and exclusive sunrise visit to the Giza Plateau. Here we will witness the sun rising directly in the vortex between the magnificent paws of the Sphinx, who sees all of our incarnations on this planet and who keeps safe the Hall of Records where our stories are kept. Here we will open the chakra of our third eye, or second sight, in a special ceremony with Mary that prepares the way for your pilgrimage. This is where your journey truly begins…
Return to our hotel for a relaxing breakfast, then we will have our first gathering to be introduced to the mystery and the mystical Egypt. This is the first chance for you to experience Mary’s teachings as she leads us in setting our intentions for this pilgrimage.
Your afternoon is free to relax at the pool or get a massage, or just bask in your own private view of the Pyramids.
In the late afternoon, we visit the Egyptian Museum to see it as few ever have, privately and exclusively for our group. After a guided tour, learning about some of the most ancient Egyptian antiquities, and of course seeing the magnificent artifacts and jewels of that most famous of Kings, Tut-ankh-Amon, you will have time to wander the museum in quiet solitude to ponder the legacy left to us by the pharaohs, and to contemplate the mysteries surrounding the great dynasties.
On the way to and from the Egyptian Museum you will have your first opportunity to view the modern city of Cairo. Dinner on your own.

Day 3, Tues, Feb 13th

Cairo City
Breakfast at your leisure and then enjoy a morning to yourself - perhaps enjoy the spa or swim in the Mena House pool, or just sleep in.
In the afternoon, we will board our air-conditioned coach to visit El-Moez Street, the Alley of the Tent-makers. One of the oldest streets in Cairo, it is essentially an open air “step back in time”, dating back to the Fatimid era of Caliphs over a millennia ago, and has almost all types of Islamic architecture — all decorated with Arabic calligraphy. It has recently been renovated and is a wonderful place to step into the past (and shop!)
Then we visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. One of the oldest shopping districts in the world, the Khan El Khalili is like going back to the time of Ali Baba and Aladdin. Merchants have been trading on this site since at least the 14th century. In 1384, an emir named Al Khalili built a great Khan, a three-story hostelry intended to accommodate traveling merchants and their wares. Ancient buyers visited the Khan for the goods brought in on merchant caravans, and the selling and bartering spread to the neighboring streets. The earliest surviving parts of the bazaar today are several great stone gateways that date back to the 1500’s. We will also have a wonderful lunch at a local restaurant.
Return to the Mena House for our final night at the Mena House. Dinner is on your own. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 4, Wed, Feb 14th

Sakkara / Aswan / Old Cataract:
This Valentine’s Day morning, we’ll drive to Sakkara to view and meditate on many of the Old Kingdom pyramids, which rise on the west bank near ancient Memphis. About 2630 B.C. Imhotep, architect to King Djoser (Dynasty III), masterminded the Step Pyramid at Sakkara. Considered the oldest freestanding stone structures in the world (by traditional historians - otherwise, you’d consider the Great Pyramid far older!) this pyramid consists of six tiers atop a mastaba, or low, oblong tomb. Here, if you whisper across the sands and it will be heard 40 feet away — and we will open our throat chakras in a powerful initiation ceremony lead by Mary.
On the way home, admire the colorful and passionate Valentine’s Day decorations - the Egyptians have turned Valentine’s Day into quite a national holiday along the city streets. In Egypt, Valentine’s Day is for everyone!!
We will check out of the hotel in the early afternoon to fly to Aswan, the mythical origin of the Nile River and the home of Nubian kings and queens during the later dynasties of Egypt. Aswan feels completely different from Cairo, with a slow-moving energy that matches the lazy pace of the Nile.
Early this evening, you’ll relax completely as we check into the historic Old Cataract Hotel, formerly King Farouk’s Palace and home to Agatha Christie as she was writing her famous mystery, Death On the Nile.
Tonight, enjoy a special Valentine’s Dinner with Mary as we celebrate being in the heart of the Nile Delta and Ancient Egypt!

Day 5, Thur. Feb 15th

Teaching Session/Aswan City/Felucca ride:
Breakfast and a relaxing morning before we have our second teaching session with Mary Morrissey at The Cataract.
Aswan is a wonderful Egyptian city. Beautiful and peaceful, Aswan is called the “Pearl of Egypt.” Early this afternoon, we will visit the colorful and bustling Nubian Market. This is a great place to enjoy the marvelous local handicrafts, or just watch the locals who shop or smoke shisha. You’ll be able to pick up lunch for yourself at the hotel or in the market.
Afterwards, we will enjoy a sunset ride around Elephantine Island as we relax aboard a felucca, a typical Egyptian sailboat. Dinner and evening on your own at the hotel or in Aswan.

Day 6, Fri, Feb 16th

Philae Temple of Isis / Kom Ombo temple:
Before dawn, we will take a water journey to the beautiful island temple at Philae, where we will welcome the sunrise. During our private visit to this amazing temple, Mary leads us in a ceremony to return to the Source of all, the Great Mother, to receive the blessings of Isis. This isle represents a fusion of three great civilizations – Egyptian, Greek and Roman. The presence of Isis is palpable in the inner sanctum, the Holy of Holies, where we will have a special ceremony to open our root chakras and begin our journey of rebirth inside the Unity of the Mother Goddess Isis.
Back to breakfast at our historic hotel. Then we check into our private chartered Exclusive Nile cruise, aboard the magnificent Farah. This magnificent ship will be entirely and only for our fellow pilgrims as we travel up the Sacred Nile.
Farah Nile Cruise Farah Nile Cruise 2
As a special gift from Mary, unless you are part of a couple traveling together, you will be treated to your own stateroom aboard the cruise ship! (Mary is gifting each of her travelers a private stateroom on the cruise, the single supplement, should you desire one, is for the hotels only.)
Sail to Kom Ombo. At sunset we visit the only “dual temple” in Egypt, and Mary here leads your ceremony to open the sacral chakra, moving us from unity into duality. This dramatic temple poised between the edge of the river and the encroaching desert sand was dedicated to two gods - Sobek, the crocodile god of strength, fortitude, fertility and rebirth, and Horus, the hawk-headed son of Isis and Osiris. The duality of light/ dark, yin/yang, conscious/unconscious is apparent in this ancient site. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7, Sat, Feb 17th

Teaching Session/Edfu temple / Sail to Luxor:
Breakfast aboard our cruise ship while we sail to Edfu through the tranquil countryside of Egypt, including crossing through the Esna lock. This is a morning on the Nile to know you are powerfully supported and loved by a Power greater than yourself in your life.
This afternoon, Mary offers her third teaching session as we pass the halfway mark of our tour, so you can peel back the layers of your pilgrimage as you powerfully expand your awareness.
In the evening, we visit the Temple of Horus. It is one of the most beautifully preserved Temples in Egypt. Horus is associated with higher vision and clarity. The eye of Horus greatly relates to his myth and power. The left eye represents the lunar, the moon, the intuitive, the feminine energy. The right eye is connected to the solar, the masculine, the action, and the yang energy. Both are necessary for true power to exist. In a ceremony, Mary will lead you in opening your solar plexus chakra. She will work with balancing the lunar and the solar energies inside of each us and awaken our intuitive centers to be able to experience a higher perspective. This is not just something we experience in Egypt, it is something we can access for the rest of our lives. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8, Sun, Feb 18th

Karnak Temple
Today we visit the magnificent Karnak Temple. Karnak is the biggest temple complex in Egypt - and a very important and special place. It is dedicated to the Gods Amun and Mut. As you enter, you walk between a row of ram-headed sphinxes that connect Karnak with Luxor Temple a mile away. Take some time to visit the sacred lake of Karnak, ask for purification and place the intention of your mind's eye into the lake.
Outside the main halls is a small chapel dedicated to Sekhmet, the lioness Goddess of compassion and courage. She is associated with feminine fire and healing through destruction. A renowned healer, she is known for her magic and ability to hunt down any imbalance at its origin. In a potent private initiation, Mary will lead us as we honor and receive the gift of courage to be our authentic selves. This is the heart chakra opening, and one of the most powerful ceremonies.
This evening is our final dinner aboard our private cruise ship, and then we can relax on deck or go into Luxor town for the evening. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 09, Mon, Feb 19th

Luxor / West Bank
Today we visit Deir el Bahari, the funerary temple of the only female pharaoh, Hatshepsut. We also visit the Necropolis of Thebes on the West Bank of the Nile, where the Valley of Kings holds the tombs of the pharaohs inscribed with sacred transformative texts, including the books of knowing light and dark, what is in the underworld, and the naming and taming the hours of the night. We will have an exclusive private visit to one of the most amazing tombs, seeing the precious gem colors that used to grace every Egyptian temple.
We will also visit the World Renown Colossi of Memnon, formerly just two statues alone in the desert, discovered only recently to be the entrance markers at the largest temple complex in all the world, now under excavation.
This afternoon, upon our return, we will check into the delightful and opulent, the Sonesta St. George, the most wonderful hotel in Luxor. Relax and enjoy the city in the country, as Luxor combines the best of both worlds.
This evening we will experience a private and exclusive visit to the unique Luxor Temple, which features the avenue of sphinxes in front of the pylon dedicated to Ramses II. Luxor is the only religious monument in the world that includes both Pharaonic, Macedonian, Ptolemaic, Roman, Christian, and Islamic constructions, and you can see the marks each dynasty left on this magnificent place. A great surprise awaits you here… (Breakfast)

Day 10, Tues, Feb 20th

Denderah / Abydos temples:
In the morning we will have a journey to the exquisite Temple of Denderah, dedicated to Hathor, the goddess of abundance, love and joy. The temple is built with a zodiac ceiling that recalls the origins of Egypt. On the rooftop where Hathor priests and priestesses gathered for their celebrations thousands of years ago, Mary will continue to help us open more connections to our heart centers in a deep and important ceremony.
We then continue north to the temple at Abydos, dedicated to Osiris and housing the nine great beings (the Ennead). This temple rests next to and above the most ancient Osirion, one of the premier power places on the planet, and home to the tattoo of the Flower of Life, the most primal sacred geometry. We will also see the more recent temple built by Seti I, which contains the most beautiful bas relief of any temple in Egypt.
This evening, enjoy free time and explore Luxor once again… (Breakfast, Box Lunch)

Day 11, Wed, Feb 21st

Final Teaching Session/Luxor / Cairo:
This morning, we will have our final session with Mary, harnessing our most important experiences and learnings from our pilgrimage, and bringing together all the wisdom teachings.
After breakfast and around midday, we check out of our hotel and are transferred to Luxor airport for our short flight back to Cairo. You will have time to eat at the airport, should you desire.
This afternoon, you’ll be checking into The Four Seasons Giza First Residence hotel. Here your Nile view room will delight you. In your free time, be sure to check out the Ocular, a locally-designed stained glass rose window in The First Residence Tea Lounge.
Relax and dine as you choose during this free evening — perhaps at the sushi restaurant on site, or one of the many other local options.
You’ll want to get to bed early this evening, because tomorrow is our final and most important initiation. (Breakfast)

Day 12, Thur, Feb 22nd

Great Pyramid / King's Chamber / Farewell Dinner
In the pre-dawn morning, our coach will take us to an exclusive and most deeply powerful ceremony inside the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid. Spoken of, from those who have traveled with Mary to Egypt, as the MOST powerful of ALL the ceremonies, this final initiation awakens you into your next empowerment. Here, in this private ceremony in the King’s Chamber, is where we magnify and open our access to the Divine: the Crown Chakra.
On the way back, we will stop at the panorama of the plateau. Here you will be lifted up and captivated by the breathtaking views of the city.
After breakfast at our hotel, your entire last full day in Egypt is completely free to reflect on all you have experienced, visit Cairo city or Giza on your own, or any other choice you make with your day.
Tonight, we'll have our Famous Farewell Dinner where we bring a final celebration to our Pilgrimage in this “bucket list” once-in-a-lifetime Pilgrimage! (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 13, Fri, Feb 23rd
